(In
this type, the rotor and hub are cast as a single unit. Wheel studs
are pressed into the rotor. Bearing races are furnished.) Hub
and rotor are machined together. This minimizes rotor runout.
Hub and rotor are balanced as one unit, which offers a smoother
ride. Ease of installation when retroffitting and/or upgrading from

Quality Casting. Rotors are 100% tested and balanced to meet very
strict specifications. Our Rotors are vented to improve heat
dissipation. All gray iron rotors are 35,000 PSI tensile strength
castings for longer rotor life, improved structural integrity and superior
performance.
Kodiak
caliper mounting brackets are durable, heavy duty casting of ductile iron
or stainless steel. They utilize an embossment in the design to give
more thread contact for the caliper guide bolt to insure a tight fitting
and secure connection. All Kodiak brackets have side support,
therefore the bracket carries the load not the bolts.
All
Kodiak calipers are of low drag design. This retracts the piston
further than the competition, which equates to cooler running brake.
100% high and low pressure tested. Contains 2 special bolts with
Thread Locker (use socket or allen wrench), dual port bleed screw,
2-1/4" stainless steel piston (largest in the industry) & organic
NAO pads.
